Always having a passion for games and how they work, I started modding games and hacking ROMs in my teens. I later defaulted to an IT position at a call center just as the most knowledgeable of computers among the employees. This prompt me to consider it a career and I attended my local community college for web and mobile app development. After graduating with honours, I worked for a financial enterprise company for 4 years. All along playing around with Unity on my own time, eventually deciding to take some time off to properly learn the game engine and founded Chillin Games.
I come from the enterprise world, meaning my skill set is more data and user experience vs visual. This however can be viewed as a strength since I possess a unique viewpoint on programs and data.
Always growing my game skills, this includes programming, design patterns, marketing, shaders, math, color theory, pixel art, 3D modeling, creative writing and even music
7 years experience programming in a .NET environment, with my spare time going towards Unity and experimenting with games.

The current skills I am developing to better the games industry
With 7 years experience in C# programming for both enterprices as well as games, I can bring an interesting perspective to projects. Pushing composite design umong others, I am well equiped to jump into any team dynamic.
Working front to back with Unity games. Experience in both 2D and 3D: movement, camera, physics and collisions. A major emphasis on the back end logic but also working with their new pipelines, Shader Graph shaders and lighting.
With experience in Photoshop, Gimp and Paint.Net, I am able to quickly produce assets as required. With a strong passion for pixel art, I have become quite familiar with Aseprite to make characters, landscapes and props. I have also begun to dive into Blender as of late for 3D modeling as well.
With my history of web design and enterprise experience, I am uniquely qualified to look at games UX design. Understanding the importance of click through rates and interactive feedback can greatly help a project in the gaming industry.
In addition to my game experience, I am also well equipped to manage any companion websites for studios or games themselves.
Managing my own brand, Chillin Games, has taught me a lot in how to be seen in social media and on store platforms like Steam.
